Oregon with the Bingham's! July 24-31, 2008
Well, it was my first time to Oregon and I loved it! Seth was born there and his Dad went to Dental school there. We went to Sea Side and Newport. It was such a great trip. These were a few of my favorite things:
1. Lincoln's first time on a plane!! And he did great. He cried when we got on the plane and when the gentleman we were assigned to sit by saw us coming he said, "tell me it's not true!" Lincoln fell right to sleep and didn't make another peep the whole trip! That man spoke too soon.
2. the nice cool weather and the ocean wind!
3. Flying kites. This was really my favorite thing. One of the string rollers broke so rachel and ben spent hours untangeling it. Nothing was going to stop us from flying kites. It was awesome!
4. The clam chowder! I couldn't get enough of it
5. the oceanarium, it was amazing! I loved all the different kinds of jelly fish
6. Our run to the light house and back. It was beautiful, and I loved how rachel was our motivating coach!
7. Learning to embroider!! Thanks Jolene.
8. The fruit stands and the fresh blueberries. yum yum!!
9. Jimmy's fresh cooked crab and Jon's amazing salmon
10. just spending time with family. I love my in-laws!
Trip to Wendover-July 08
This was back when Lincoln was starting to talk. He was 3 1/2 months old. That was just the beginning, he's much louder now!
We went to Wendover in July to see Seth's Grandpa and Sue. It was their first time to meet Lincoln so we were happy he was such an angel. Since we car pooled we were trying to pack light and didn't take a crib for him so this is our make-shift crib... a suit case! He was cute in it and he slept great. Grandpa Jones ended up having to go to the emergency room for his heart since he wasn't feeling well, but we were glad he was ok.

American Fork Canyon
We tried to have a marshmellow gun fight but that turned out to be a bit brutal since the marshmellows had hardened! ouch!

Happy 35th Anniversary Mom & Dad
This is a tribute to my Mom and Dad for being happily married for 35 years! I'm late in getting this posted because their anniversary was August 3rd. We had a very fun get together to celebrate. My Mom and Dad are a great example to me and I'm so thankful for all that they've done for me and for us as a family. I love that they met in the 4th grade and have liked each other since! They've built a great life together as best friends and forever sweethearts. I love you mom and dad!
