Military Match Results

Well, the results are in! The Airforce gave Seth a deferred civilian position in Emergency Medicine. This means that he can apply for a civilian residency in EM. The airforce only had about 25 spots open for EM and about 400 applicants so we feel really lucky that he got one of these spots. We were opting to do an Airforce Residency, but this was our next best option. Seth will now be busy applying and interviewing. We are really happy about the results...so far anyway, now we just hope he gets in somewhere! The DO and MD matches are in February and March so we will find out then where we will be going. Any suggestions or advice is welcomed!

Kids Photoshoot

It's nice having family here with a nice camera! This was our attempt at a photo shoot of the kiddies. I think they turned out pretty cute! I'm still working on my photo editing skills but it was fun to experiment. 2 1/2 years and 6 months.

I'm grateful

"Sincerely giving thanks not only helps us recognize our blessings, but it also unlocks the doors of heaven and helps us feel God's love...to express grattitude is gracious and honorable, to enact gratitude is generous and noble, but live with gratitude ever in our hearts is to touch heaven."

This was our month in a nut shell! We're truly blessed.

Halloween!

Halloween was reallly fun this year! Lincoln really got into it. It was so funny to see him just stare at people dressed up, especially the scary looking ones. He really liked dressing up, just for fun and to get candy! He was a pirate, a cowboy(Woody), and thomas the train. Lila even got to be a pumpkin, a princess fairy, and Clifford(It was a devil costume but we went with Clifford instead, inspired by Lincoln. It was a busy weekend and we really partied it up. Even Seth dressed up...kind of ;)

While we were in Utah we went to Gardner Village which is so fun at this time of year! We LOVE the witches!
